KISMET PARTIES HEARTY:
  Pig Roast, Seabay Beach dinner,
  Phyllis & Charlie, Merry Marrieds

John & Matt Blesso’s 4th annual Pig roast at Chance to benefit the veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan. John worked on the keg, Beer from Fire Island brewing Co. The roasted pig was a source of amusement and awe. Only Paparazzi could have snapped more photos of Tony the pig. John and a few professional carvers placed succulent pig on large platters. The meat was served with a spicy green sauce and those creative Kismetics learn everyone's name by writing their names on the cups. Matt and Dennis discussing pork belly futures. The upstairs bathroom at Chance was on the tour. For those who have never had the pleasure, this bathroom is one of creative genius or sheer madness. It is covered entirely with money. Imagine, if you can. Wallpapering with pennies! Everyone commented how delicious the pig was. There was this morbid curiosity; they were snapping pictures. Newbies to Kismet were saying how incredible it was and they are hooked (which works for John’s 3300 rotating single shares!). John also served mac and cheese and black beans. The only thing missing was napkins! We were licking our fingers from the delicious feast. The gathering included those from BVT, Sanctuary, Cartoon Alley, 7 Seas, RisBiz, Relax+, Kismet Bliss. Tony the Pig: In death, as in life, he was appreciated

The Annual Seabay 4th of July Pot Luck Dinner
This year Kismet neighbors enjoyed the 7th Annual Seabay 4th of July Pot Luck Dinner. Oh boy cans these Kismetics cook! The event, coordinated by Jane and Gregg Weisser (Swept Away) was attended by about 75 people from all parts of Kismet-not just Seabay. The weather was perfect and made for a beautiful evening of wining and dining on the beach with old and new friends. The pig was well represented at this feast. John Williams brought his signature slow cooked, fall off the bone, delicious pork ribs. This year he wow'd us with two batches each with a different style sauce. Gregg Weisser slow cooked a pork shoulder and turned out a mouthwatering tray of pulled pork tacos filled with habenero guacamole. Glenn of BVT served up a sumptuous tray of teriyaki beef skewers. Joanne Padovano prepared a tasty pesto pasta with sun dried tomatoes--keeping the tradition of former Villa Nova owners the Freda's. Chris Jenks made a bountiful salad with no garden green left out. Barbara Leeds brought down some delicious, ice cold vodka punch just in the nick of time as we were starting to run low on libations. Other fabulous edibles included deviled eggs, multiple hors d'vours, cheeses, potato salad, brownies, strawberry short cake and more. Already looking forward to the next July 4th and Pot Luck on the beach!
